Stepping out for a swanky affair, Cate Blanchett was spotted at the Sydney Film Festival opening night in Sydney, Australia today (June 8).
The ?Curious Case of Benjamin Button? actress looked lovely as she posed for the press prior to the screening of her new flick ?Hanna.?
Festival director Clare Stewart explained that she?s excited to see the variety of flicks coming in from all over the world.
"There's a really great selection of films from the Middle east including Cairo 678, an Egyptian film that stars Bushra who's a big Egyptian pop star. Very interesting in the way that it shows everyday life in that area where there's been a lot of political unrest, as indeed is the Iranian film in competition, A Separation."
