The Sun today reports that former X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd is ?secretly dating? a 21 year old hairdresser, with whom she is apparently smitten.
The paper states that 17 year old Cher is anxious to keep her new romance with Craig Monk a secret so that press attention isn?t diverted to that rather than the release of her single ?Swagger Jagger?.
The couple met two months ago when Cher went to the ?FOUR? salon in Mayfair to have her hair coloured and to have extensions fitted.
She and Craig got chatting when they both went out for a cigarette, and ?immediately hit it off.?
Essex boy Craig yesterday changed his Facebook profile status to ?in a relationship? but he didn?t add Cher?s name, which was at her request.
A source close to Cher told the paper, ?Cher?s completely smitten with Craig?
?She says she has never met anyone like Craig and it?s turned serious. He has set up a Twitter account to follow her but she isn?t following him because she is paranoid it will distract from her music.?
?Swagger Jagger? is due to go on general release on Simon Cowell?s label Syco on July 31st.
