Russell Brand was snapped hand-in-hand with a pretty blonde last week - and we hear Katy Perry is hopping mad.
After being shown the pictures of Russell, 36, getting tactile with the young stylist from the Miami set of his new movie Rock Of Ages, sources close to California Gurls singer Katy, 26, say she called her husband and demanded to know what the hell was going on.
?Russ isn't supposed to be photographed with any other woman, let alone holding hands,' reveals our insider.
?Katy called him and understandably went nuts.'
As Now reported earlier this month, the couple had agreed to a few new rules in their long-distance relationship - one of which was to never, ever be pictured close to a member of the opposite sex.
?It's to prevent any rumours putting a strain on their marriage, especially when they're apart so much because of their work,' says the friend.
?There's nothing going on, of course, but it just doesn't look good.
?The girl in question is simply a wardrobe assistant from the film and their friendship's purely platonic.
'She and Russ share a joke from time to time.
'He was only holding hands with her because he's naturally a touchy-feely guy.'
