Teyana Taylor gained popularity on MTV's 'Super Sweet 16' before launching her music career.

Harlem R&B singer Teyana Taylor is accused of pummeling another woman during a vicious fight over Chris Brown at a Burbank, Calif., recording studio Saturday night.

Police said a 24-year-old woman claims Taylor, 20, punched her in the face and kicked her in the head after an argument over Taylor's close relationship with Brown.

Cops say the incident could amount to assault with a deadly weapon because Taylor was allegedly wearing heavy boots during the felony beatdown.

"She allegedly took exception to what the victim said and attacked her, punching her in the face and kicking her in the head when she was down on the floor," Burbank Police Sgt. Robert Quesada told the Daily News.

"The victim had abrasions, swelling to the face and left eye, scratches on her neck and cheek and swelling on the bridge of her nose," he said.

"We are trying to make contact with Miss Taylor and get her side of the story," he said. "Our victim says it was a one-sided attack - that she was just trying to keep from being hit."

A call to Taylor's publicist was not immediately returned.

But the singer, who also has a part in the upcoming Tyler Perry movie "Madea's Big Happy Family," denied the violent blowup on Twitter.

"im being accused of something I didn't do," she tweeted Wednesday, adding a plug for the Perry movie.

The unidentified victim declined medical treatment at the scene but wants to press charges, Quesada said.

Taylor, who initially gained popularity on MTV's "Super Sweet 16" but has since collaborated with hip hop superstar Kanye West, left the scene by the time cops arrived Saturday night, TMZ.com reported.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney will make the final decision on charges if police pursue the case.

Taylor, who now lives in Los Angeles but grew up on W. 140th St. between Seventh and Lenox Aves., was photographed hanging out with Brown not long after his admitted beating of former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

"its a big year for me. im WINNING!!" she wrote on Twitter Wednesday, adopting the catchphrase of Charlie Sheen.
