WATTS - Los Angeles police responding to a possible shotgun blast apparently fired at a gunman today, but no one was wounded.
An officer put out an "officer needs help -- shots fired" call in the 1700 block of East 115th Street about 8:25 a.m., according to police and broadcast reports from the scene.
Someone may have fired a shotgun at a neighbor's house, triggering the response and the shooting.
