Adam Lambert has described his newest single as ?empowering?.
The American Idol star premiered his newest release ?Aftermath? on Ryan Seacrest?s radio show today and said that the tune is meant to inspire his fans and followers.
He told his old Idol pal:
?It?s a song that?s on my album?it?s a song that I wrote and?it?s an empowerment anthem.?
?It inspires people to take risks for who they are, and take that leap of faith. I?m excited because it?s something that I wrote, and what?s important about it is the message.?
All profits from the new single ? which will be released on Adam?s official website after his live performance on American Idol this Thursday ? will be donated to charity The Trevor Project.
On why he decided to remix and release it he admitted:
?It was a song that always got a great response on tour, and I?ve been wanting to do something with The Trevor Project. I think it really speaks to their slogan ?It Gets Better?.?
