Simon Cowell is said to be still undecided about the lineup of this year?s X Factor judging panel.
The music mogul was reportedly intending on hiring N-Dubz star Tulisa, hoping she would bring some street cred to the ITV show, however after Dannii Minogue?s announcement that she won?t be on the series this year he is reportedly reconsidering his options, now worried that the singer/rapper is not a big enough star.
Another hot favourite to join the show was former Destiny?s Child singer Kelly Rowland but her future is also looking shaky, as insiders report that Cowell is worried that viewers will tune out unless he finds a bigger named star.
Speaking about Tulisa, a source revealed to the Mirror: ?She is not a big enough name. She is not another Cheryl Cole or a Dannii.?
?ITV wants things signed and sealed but Simon is still changing his mind and thinking of new names. The feeling is that without Cheryl and Dannii a big sexy female star is needed. If they end up with Tulisa and Kelly Rowland, who are the favourites for the jobs, fans will be very disappointed.?
Responding to these claims, a spokesperson for ITV said: ?We are very excited about this year?s show. We?ll announce the judges? line-up shortly.?
